Services > Competitiveness > Knowledge

We believe that a PSF’s knowledge is the total intellectual capital of the firm – including human capital (people’s “know-how”, “know-who” and “know-what”), structural capital (content already captured in documents, databases, tools and processes) and customer capital (the shared insights, relationships and trust between a firm and its clients). We work with our clients to help them leverage this knowledge to create a sustainable competitive advantage. Specific services include:

Culture Change Programs – through marketing and communicating the importance of knowledge sharing and then training people to use knowledge resources fully and effectively, we implement a broad array of programs to build an effective and efficient ‘knowledge culture’ ;
Community Enablement Programs – by organising, facilitating and enabling practitioner communities of practice, both locally and regionally, we help clients find, develop and share appropriate content. This is typically done by introducing the use and uptake of collaborative technologies such as blogs, wikis, desktop search engines and community management software to drive a knowledge sharing culture;
Knowledge Research & Analysis implementation – by excelling in the provision of specialist business research & analysis services for internal use, we assist in the creation of competencies in our clients personnel to produce, and help find, appropriate knowledge quickly and expertly, to serve those who need more synthesised, analysed knowledge;
Architecture and Tools Development – by maintaining an elegant yet simple ‘architecture’ of knowledge content, knowledge containers, and knowledge tools, we work to standardise these tools & techniques to make them easy to learn and use, yet powerful enough to find valued content quickly
External Content Acquisition – by negotiating and brokering the purchase of external vendors’ knowledge content to achieve volume discounts, we help our clients to drive an efficient and effective return on investment.
