Why Marketing?
Marketing is a business process that should permeate the entire firm. Marketing should not, and cannot be artificially separated from the rest of the organization. According to renowned management guru Peter Drucker, a firm has only two primary functions: marketing and innovation, the rest are costs. This is because a firm exists to serve and satisfy customers and it is marketing that is responsible for creating and delivering the value that customers seek. Research shows that a market orientation has a significant and demonstrable impact on company performance.

Marketing drives your business and at SRC Associates we aim to provide our clients with the skills and knowledge that will allow them to determine the destiny of their firm. We strive to enhance your capabilities in all areas of marketing whether it be marketing strategy, strategic planning, or branding.
What kind of Marketing? Scientific and Entrepreneurial
Led by the initiatives of such organizations as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and the Academy of Marketing Science (US), marketing is changing. From art to science, marketing is becoming rigorous and accountable as managers demand to know the impact that marketing will have on firm results. Additionally, marketing needs to be innovative and non traditional, it needs to allow you stand out from the crowd as well as seek and profit from opportunities in the market place.

Hence at SRC, we use the term entrepreneurial enterprise marketing (EEM). This is marketing that combines pro-activeness, innovation, and strategic thinking with an emphasis on a company wide effort that maximizes ROI.
Entrepreneurial Enterprise Marketing for Whom?
We focus on the following sectors and businesses as the different contexts they operate within require a new and different approach to marketing:

Professional Services
– those in the professional services sector (i.e. law firms, accountancy, engineering, surveyors, architects) require marketing approaches which fit the Asian culture, do not breach association guidelines, and create differentiation of what is basically an intangible service. Traditional approaches will not work here.

SME's – SME marketing is a specialized field that requires modification of existing marketing methodologies primarily due to the resource constraints so often facing such firms.

Non Profits – non profit organizations are facing a dynamic and changing competitive landscape. Numerous organizations vie for the attention of potential givers and sponsors. SRC also provides many services free to this sector as part of our belief in community service (more info here).

Large Firms – we also work with larger firms who wish to take an innovative and rigorous approach to marketing that breaks free of tradition and truly differentiates.
